If you need weight for traction it is the easiest and cheapest way to get it.I fill my own tires.The adaptor that goes on the valve stem hooks to a garden hose.I use a small submercsable pump and a garbage can. You can bye the adaptor at a farm store for about $12.00 Good Luck
