How many do you run at one time? With 28 tractors, I wouldn't keep that many batteries around. They just go bad over time. Each one would need a maintnance charge as well.
After I put in a voltmeter a couple weeks ago, figured out my 2606 has a bad cell. Doesn't take long to drop to 11 and then 10 volts when I turn the lights on. I keep a cheap HF maintenance charger on it and it cranks over enough to start which is all I need.
