It's NOT as simple as you think. Ralphing on the VR adjusting screw #14, WILL increase the regulated voltage, whether up to the 13-14 Volts, I don't know.
HOWEVER, the other relay, the cutout relay, will NEVER drop out at engine shutdown once closed when connected to a 12 Volt battery, "killing" your battery and likely letting precious smoke out of the VR and generator. I'm not going to guess how far that one can be adjusted.
Do yourself and the smoke inside your electrical system a favor and get a 12 Volt VR. Why not a 12 Volt generator, as well?
