If the counter guy doesn't have a clue about the batteries tell them to ask Rene (manager) about them or better yet give them your number and ask to have Rene call you.
Here is the straight dope on their $29.00 batteries:
They get them from a warehouse next day delivered.
They are available in 12v only.
The batteries may be blemished or otherwise thought to be defective.
If defect found they are completely rebuilt and sold as reconditioned.
If no defect found they are tested and resold as reconditioned.
They is a 30 day warrantee.
So you could possibly get a $100 battery for $29.00.
This is a local pickup price. You will have to make your own deal on shipping.
But it might be worth a drive if you are going to purchase several.
