Look, Guys, I know the young man didn't know about tractors. Thats not my point. The point is,that HE SHOULD KNOW HIS JOB..at least enough to understand a parts book!..the tools of his job, and the books.
Maybe the tractor was a bad example. But it also happened in auto parts everyday.
Maybe I'm expecting too much. we farmers think on our feet, and use common sense. It is sad that I understand the book at HIS place of employment. a book, I may add, he didn't want to even look at.
I didn't get upset, until it was evident he didnt know how to do his job....and read a simple book!
IF IT DON'T FALL IN THEIR LAP IT ISN'T WORTH DOING seems to be the thought of late. And why not? heck, he gets paid weather or not I buy.
Is it too much to ask that someone knows their job reasonably well with average intelligence? Like someone else pointed out, whats the big deal about measuring a belt? or refusing to sell a part, if you dont provide the application?
