Dick Is the engine running at normal water temperature? Since you have a loader, does the tractor have a hydraulic oil cooler in front of the radiator? Some of the industrials such as IH 3414 (I believe) had hydrostatic drives and required an oil cooler in front of the radiator. If either of the oil systems are getting hot, the fan and radiator have more heat to dissapate than the engine coolant. The hydrostatic drives of the early 70's were not known for smooth and maintainence free operation. Make sure the radiator and grill are free of obstructions, dirt, weeds, trash and oil/grease. You may be able to install a pusher fan on the tractor to force the air from the rear to front of the radiator. On a loader application, direction of air flow is not as critical. Good luck. Ray
