Wow Troy I am in the process of fixing up a 2424 I picked up really cheap that looks just like yours only mine is yellow :(
Mine was leaking really bad from the right brake and found that the differential shaft was missing the snap ring holding the bushing in. Had to do a little filing to get the slot back in the shaft and replaced the o-rings on the bushing. That stopped the major leak, but still have a slight drip coming from behind the plate.
I may have to do the same thing you are doing t fix that and the axle seal.
I think the manual says 17 gallons if you have a front mounted pump.
