Randy, The part no. for the 240 International Utility tractor is 371277R92. The part no. for the tachometer on the 240 Farmall tractor is 371276R92 per my printed parts catalog. I checked the CaseIH on-line part catalog and the 340 Farmall and 340 International Utility tractors use different numbers then the 240 models. There might be some other application for the same tachometer on some other model but my guess is that they are model unique due to the gear speeds listed along with the RPM's which are determined by tire size and engine RPM's. You might be stuck with trying to find a salvage or NOS tach for your tractor if they are no longer available from CaseIH. Let us know what you find out as I'm going to start restoring a Farmall 240 next year and I'm already finding out some parts are very difficult to find, Hal.
