I"m having trouble getting the cage free from the differential. It slides out nearly all the way, but the outer race of the ball bearing catches on the outer race of the roller bearing and that"s all the further I can get.
I ordered the service manual and waiting by the mailbox until I get it.
Any advice for above problem? Was the root cause of your problem the oil seals? I think root cause on mine was broken bolts and oil seeping between main differential housing and cage. also, RH axle gasket was compromised along the flat area.
