In 1958 IH used IH 201, good luck finding it. 2150 appeared in 1961. I doubt if I have ever seen 201, but I also doubt if it is much different from 2150. It may or may not be too light. I read a lot about a "dark" red. I am not sure there ever was one. Also, it is likely next to impossible to find the color that came on the tractor as the EPA, etc has mandated that certain "toxic" elements such as lead be removed resulting in a change in the color. To my eyes 2150 has an orange tint, several others that have responded to that statement say they don't see any, others agree. Also you can have 2150 mixed to DuPont/PPG, etc specifications and adjust the toners to suit you -- don't expect it to work the first time. The correct white for your tractor is IH 901 (PPG 8665 I think, IH does not sell it anymore) I do not know if it is close to the original color, it looks fine to me. It will have a slight greenish yellow tint to my eyes, looks better sprayed on than in the can.
