Fudd pop off the spring and check the thruster bearing assembly behind the spring. It should slide horizontally on the shaft but not wiggle on the shaft. If it does, then the bearing assembly is worn. If it is not wiggling, then a new spring would be the next step. If the thruster bearing is bad, talk to your banker first. $65 for the assembly on my last H.
