Picture is of the one surviving original stop sitting side by side with a new one I bought to replace the other original which was broken. Seeing on reassembly of the tractor that there is no threads in the original to put in a new thumb screw. Is this fixable? The new one has an insert with threads and I was wondering if this is some type of hardware I am not familiar with? Only idea I can come up with is to round off the points on a #10 nut and see if I can press it in there with some type of adhesive. Picture is a little fuzzy but the old one has the larger hole and the new one has an insert in the hole with threaded center. Any ideas much appreciatated.
