I'm toying with the same thinking as I am going to be adding an insulated addition to my tractor shed. I thought of several things I would like to incorporate in the area actually in a corner like you have. I want to add an exhaust fan (will have to be a non-sparking UL approved type motor) to remove the vapor from the area. I am also going to put in plenty of lighting and some sort of a curtain you can pull around the tractor when painting. I'm thinking of using some type of track like in a hospital between patients and making a curtain with a weighted bottome to pull around the tractor when painting to keep the red dust from everything. I have tossed the heating thing around in my head quite a bit but since my new addition will be 20' X 30' only about 1/4 will be the paint area. I really haven't got too deep into the heat and cooling system thinking yet but am going to give a heat pump a good review. I don't think they are a sparking thing and if they are it would be located outside so would probably be ok. Have also thought about those heating and cooling units which are used a lot in motels. I think they would probably work but really need to study them some more. Something that removes humidity would certainly be a plus for painting. Just thoughts at this time but maybe there is something you can gleem from this. I live in Missouri and would probably only need to heat to 50 F (unless painting) and cool down to 80 F so I'm thinking a heat pump could handle that with little effort, Hal.

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
