Spark or Fuel???BN won't run

HELP!!! I have a 46 BN...I hand start it with ease..take it to the field start cultivating 10 minutes later it coughs sputters and dies. It restarts instantly and will run for another couple
minutes. At first I thought it was fuel but the other day it "popped" like spark. It really breaks up while under load. Plugs/wires, cap ,rotor,points are all new. I'm thinking either the float level is too low or something in the mag is
getting hot and breaking up. Hope someone has run into someting like this before......
