cam in the 250 will be different then that in the 292. I just looked at a 250 I have in the shop and the fuel pump is just behind the oil filter and the fuel pump on the 292 is just below the gap between the lifter covers so it is in fact center of the engine. I still hope the 250 head is the same since only have 250 heads on had but need to build a 292 engine
