the gear and the seal can be removed from underneath there is a seal on the pedestal remove the four bolts that hold the front wheels on then the four cap screws that hold the assy on the front housing I turn the gear that turns the pedestal a half turn this gives new teeth on the worm glad to help seal is 15.00 from national the front grille will have to be removed to replace the 90wt grease if there is any left in the housing glad to help just did one the other day on one i am restoring
