A 6 volt tender on a 8 Volt battery will damage the battery. I would actually feel better about using a 12 volt tender on it. But you would have to check it a couple of times a week to make sure the fluid level is up in the battery. If I were you I would go to I think it's batteries + or the Interstate Battery store and I believe they carry the 8 volt tenders. I'd rather be safe than sorry for a couple of bucks. LarryT
