What would be so super about a Super M if it did not have the big motor? Lousy brakes and different tranny ratios! A Super M, by difinition, has the 264 cubic inch engine which is expandable to 282. You may be confused by people who paste a Super M decal on their plain ole M. The ID tag should start with SM. Look for C-264 cast into the block below #4 spark plug.
