If you still are using the high low charge positions on the light switch and just need a cutout, you can just use that portion of the voltage regulator, Arm term and Batt Terminal. Fact of the matter is that the generator that is made for high low charge control runs a lot more amperage through the field coils and voltage regulators do not like that much current flowing through the points of the regulator portion.
