I have on/off switch in hole #2. Hole #3 is empty and the push/pull rod for the belt pullye is tucked close to the left brake peddle. Actually a little too close, sometimes when I stomp on the brake peddle the belt pulley gears grind. My '41 H has a shutter control but the mounting plate doesn't quite look like Seth's and there is no second hole where he has his on/off mounted. I don't have a picture of it though.
I'm tempted to keep the tractor close to orginal, but really dislike the big starter button (mounted on the bottom of the column on a '41) and am considering installing a 300 IH off/run/start ingintion key, just not sure where to put it, i think it needs a bigger hole than the on/off. Sacrilegious to replace on/off switch and starter button with an ignition key?
