I would say go for Both of them. I have a C that has a nice snow blade and rear hydraulic system, and I also have an M with a huge bucket on the front. I use them both a lot. 2000$ for 2 tractors that are very workable(to me)would make my day if i could find them that cheap. I have been looking for an H or M,for show and just joyriding. I would personally get an M if you had to make a choice for 1,because it is bigger and has more horsepower, and it would probably be easier to work on than a C,trust me,i know!I am restoring my C and can't wait to get it done,a there are so many little levers that you have to connect and disconnect......but if you want a good excuse heres one.........I need it for a thing to work on,all my other ones are working fine....:)
