That is what is puzzling me. The rims where they were up against the hubs look to be bright white, but on the outside where exposed to weather they are yellowed. The lid seems off white on the inside, and brighter on the outside.
It hasn't been repainted... Maybe the rims came to IH painted with a different paint that weathered differently?
