I rebuilt a c with a UC 135 engine. I cleaned up the sleeves, and installed new rings/bearings, did the valves and cam.
when i worked her hard today, I noticed she was blowing some oil out of the stack. (straight pipe) and it did get rid of a quart of oil. seems to be "puffing" the smoke on one cylinder pretty bad. still firing good on all four,
so it looks as if I have to go back in, and replace sleeves, pistons and rings.
Question. is the sleeves/pistons the same as on all 135 IH engines? I was told the head gasket is specific to the UC 135 power unit.
