How was the donaldson ball jar pre-cleaner an upgrade to the original equipment? Did it just gather more material out of the air, is it designed for a special conditions such as grain chaff?
Of course I think they look cool - so I picked one up and installed it on my H last weekend. I was standing back and admiring it when my brother asked how much I paid for it and why it is any better.
I explained to him that it was less than $100 and it will pay for inself in a year or so in reduced dirt in the carb and reduced cylinder sleeve wear due to dirt. I can tell by the way he smirked he didn't believe me. Hell, I don't believe it either but it looks cool!
