Even IH literature is all over the place on the wheel base specs. I measured the wheel bases at one time, may find a old post. Don't rmember exacly now. For the regular narrow front tractor the M used two different lower bolsters in production. That changed the wheelbase around 1/2 inch between the two types. Tractors with standard narrow front , M is around 89-1/4, MD is around 1-1/2 inch longer, and the SMTA gas and diesel is around 95-3/4 inches.
