It does not make any noise or reaction while running in neutral with the clutch in or out. I thought I herd a noise when activating the hydraulics. I wasn't paying much attention to that. I had just added 2 qts. of warm non-detergent 30 wt. oil that I always use. I'm going to check the lift for any problem.... It did back out w/o any noise till I stopped at the snow pile. My gut tells me it's inside- the previous owner patched up 2nd gear over ten yrs. ago. .....
