we were having trouble with a 1100 Ferguson fuel injection pump when the dealer mechanic noticed the man i worked for was using napa filters he said he had seen several pumps damaged that used napa filters instead of mf or cav asked the parts man at the dealer he was also an oem man, so i talked to the napa parts man who was from a family of mechanic's also one himself,his reply was they didn't know what they were talking about ,then told me wix made napa filters, also had a couple of cut away filter to show the difference of brands my opinion of the samples was wix was as good or better than oem, wix also makes carquest filters, at that time i got fuel delivered that had water in it , stopped up the primary filters on our 2 tractors shutting them off ,the secondaries own both were clean when changed, those were napa or wix used on our tractors ,still use them
