best785; maybe you have already checked, but do you have gas or is there water in the tank? Also, the plug gap spec is .023" again, maybe you have done this; maybe the discussion board could use a refresher of your problems from an earlier post. As to the gas running issue, others state a float problem. Click the link as I had posted three scans related to the carburetor from the IH Preventative Maintenance Manual. I think my Farmall 460 needs new plug wires and I need to check the carb for screw adjustments. Farm~Fleet had a gallon size carburetor cleaner kit w/self-contained wash bucket/strainer that I haven"t yet used on stand-by sitting on the garage floor. If needed, disassemble carb, soak, reassemble and go for a tractor ride!! Then I should see why the tack/hour meter isn"t functioning and adjust to an idle speed per the manual. I hope this helps. Good luck and post back your results so other may learn.
