It is a Model W. I don't think IH bought anything else. That should fit all IH tractors from '53-'54 till they stopped making LP tractors.
Create a standing search on eBay for the regulator. You should have one in your hands in a couple of months. Make sure it is returnable if it doesn't work. eBay buyer protection plan is your friend.
The only serviceable part in the carb is the loss of vacuum "shutdown". It prevents leakage when the motor is stopped. You can test that yourself.
Rarity is a function of location. Not many sold in northern states. Many in TX and AZ.
