I also have a 1937 Farmall F12. I don't know what the fluid capacities are but I can tell you about the steering wheels and the seats. The steering wheel shaft on the F12 is pretty much parallel to the ground. If you have one that is raised at the drivers end I would say it has either been retrofitted with an F14 steering column or it is indeed an F14. The seat support on an F12 is a single post with a coil spring wrapped around it. If you have a flat curved spring steel seat support it probably was retro from another tractor.
