Hey Tom,
Yea in my mind I was attempting to manipulate these figures to drawbar hp vs belt hp. According to Tractor Data, the 450 has a drawbar rating of 51.3 hp and PTO at 55.3 hp. That's pretty close. Yet the 560 drawbar rating is only 44.83 hp and the PTO checks out at 61.04 hp. Both were for gas engine results. Is this a result of the 6 cylinder engine of the 560? I know the newer/bigger tractors have alot more going on in the tranny end of things, especially the hydros, which explains more significant drops in drawbar vs pto figures. For the most part the letter and early number series were pretty close, within a few ponies. I'm by no means starting a war....Never had a 560. Would love one. That just happened to be my reference. And I also realize equations and paper calculations don't represent field conditions. Just curious I guess...Shawn
