I always love reading these types of posts. It all comes back to service and family. Did the dealer in your area have good service or poor service, never matters the brand. What did you grow up using red, green, orange, blue everyone is proud of there machince no matter the color. I have had the honor of using many different machines, and yes some are handier than others some are better on fuel than others. Now a days it is all about getting the job done the most efficient. I personal perfer Deere because I get great service at the local dealer. That doesn't mean I going to give up my Dad's 300 any time soon. Do I pay more, maybe but they stand behind their work and will do what they can to keep me going. I happen to own a few brands and they all have their place in my operation. My 46 JD B, 55 IH 300, 56 Case 400 D, all do their part to get the job done.
