I went out on the CaseIH on-line catalog and think I can explain where you were lead wrong. The Parts Catalog for the Farmall 200, 230 and 240 and International 240 tractor are all in the same catalog which you are looking at on line. The print copy has better titles on the pages then what you see on line. You were looking at page or section 321 which is the same page no. in the print catalog. Page 321 is actually the page for the Farmall 230 if you look at the title in the center in Red. Go to page or section 330 and you will see the fast hitch configuration for the Farmall and International 240 tractors and the title clearly states so in the Red title. It is very confusing and thought I would point that out to you as you can certainly get confused when dealing with several models within the same catalog. I don't know if you noticed or not but the yoke or bails are different for each model between the model 230 and 240 as well. Hope this helps in any future searches you will need to make, Hal. P.S. If you have a lot of restoration work to do on your 230 you might find a print copy better suited for cross references between models.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
