I bought an H with the 10si already on it, and the hood would not latch or even come close. Did a little investigating and found the alternator was already up against the valve cover, so making any adjustments and using a shorter belt was not an option. In short, the Delco 10si will NOT fit under the hood of an H. There just isn't any way to make it fit. I converted mine back to an original 6 volt generator.
