David, I've got a 2606 with a replacement engine. I don't have my stuff handy but your carb number sounds familiar. My carb number didn't show up at the case dealer. It is a 1 3/8" intake throat carb that doesn't show up for any of those models although the IH manual mentions one for a 560. What size throat is yours?
I assume you are looking for a larger float needle and seat as opposed to your main jet. Go to caseih.com and do a search for parts. Start looking for at the gas internationals and farmall from 606, 656, 706 and so on till you can find a bigger needle and seat. Then go to dealer to look for one since they are lost without a part number. Have a few numbers and maybe some fishing line or something to compare the throats of the seats. They are cheap, maybe you can drill one out a little without messing up the seat taper for the needle.
First, I'd do a flow test from your gas line till you have filled up a 5 gallon can. You could have an obstruction in your sediment bowl valve or thereabouts.
