Well, it isn't a huge job to open up the clutch housing. First, disassemble the coupler to the transmission. Then you can take the clutch housing face plate off and truly see what is going on. I simplified the explanation here, but in general, getting to that point is not all that bad. If you have to replace the clutch plate, you'll have to go that far anyway................we can guess here all day, but until you open it up, that is all that we can do...............guess.
