I am trying to mount a C-12-D to my SC. I had it mounted this past weekend and it seemed to work well, except for the following problem. I have the lift link adjusted as short as it will go and still cannot get enough ground clearance. With the touch control at it"s max, the disks barely clear the ground by less than an inch or so. They drag the ground occasionally. After opening up a land and running the left wheel in the furrow the mount assembly also drags the ground. Obviously I am doing something wrong but I can"t for the life of me figure it out..
The Manual para #3 reads "attach the lift link to the hitch arm and to the inside hydraulic touch control arm." I have 2 SC"s and 2 C"s and none of them have more than one touch control arm on the right side of the tractor.
Am I missing a touch control arm? Did early C"s have two on the right? I have not seen one. any suggestions or ideas much appreciated.
