If your plow doesn't have a gauge wheel, you control the depth with a stop on the lift cylinder. When your tractor was new, there was a rod on the cylinder which could be moved up or down to control the depth of the cylinder. Most of these were broken off. You can get a clamp style depth stop from a Farmall 300 fast hitch application.
