Think I mentioned in one of your other posts that the top tank on the top side of the radiator cores are taller on a 400 and 450 than a M,SM radiator is. Some aftermarket radiators are a semi fit all. They make the radiators the same size then just install a long neck in the ones for 400, 450 to extend high enough. M, SM, 400, 450 radiators all have the same basic dimensions below the top tank. But there may or may not be differences in sheet metal hole placement, bolt size or threads, steering shaft hole size, core row numbers and size. and a few small things. Also a lot of M radiators have 2 core rows. 400 have a least 3 rows. IH made a lot of different part number radiators for use on M through 450 so its not uncommon to find no two exactly alike.
