Is that the 282D engine that was in the 560D? Check to see that the hose from the final filter to the injector is flowing a good stream of fuel for at least a minute or two. That hose has been known to collaspe and show no visible damage. If you have good fuel flow(USE NO ETHER!!!) hook that tractor to another tractor or pickup and pull it around the yard. Should be running in half a mile or so. DO NOT PULL FASTER THAN 10 or 12MPH. IN OTHER WORDS USE COMMON SENSE AND YOU WILL BE FINE! Off the top of my head I would think 4th gear for both tractors. Put TA in direct drive on the 656 and USE NO ETHER!!! Let us know your results on what works. I have done this sever times to save wear and tear on the batteries and starter. Works for me. Armand
