Hello Fred: Nope to overhauling just yet. Could be any number of things like are you using 10-30 oil rather that straight 20 or 30? The oil pumps tend to loose pumping pressure some after 20 or 30 years. Could also be your gauge is slowly reading lower. If the compression is good maybe just droping the pan and replace bearings will do for a while. Maybe you really would like to rebuild it just for the heck of it? Go for it. ButDo a little investigating befor jumping the gun? Cheers. harvey
