I replaced one on a 400 not too long ago. The tractor has to be split and the flywheel and clutch removed. Then it is pretty easy to replace it. Make sure you use gasket sealer on the oil seal retainer gaskets. While yer in there, check to make sure the freez plug isn't leaking. Gook luck!
