I was able to buy a new gauge from the dealer last fall for a Farmall 340 (made about 1960). The dealer had to match the gauge to the sending unit, seems there were two different types gauges and senders used for my tractor model. Gauge and sending unit have to match up. Not sure if that would be the same for your 460. Also, my tractor was converted from 6 volt positive ground to 12 negative ground and that caused a lot of problems. In the end, I couldn't solve the negative ground conversion, so I never did get the new gauge to work. If your 460 was converted to 12 volts and negative ground this might be an issue for you too.
