Hello, This is the first time I"ve posted on this forum. I have been spoiled to the quietness of newer tractors for awhile now. Recently, I have been running an old 666 hydro diesel tractor on my dads farm and I can"t get over how dang loud the thing is. We have other tractors with 2 and 3 times the HP and are 2 and 3 times quieter. Ha Ha! I just thought I would throw this out there and see if anybody had any suggestions. Any special engine servicing that would quiet this sucker down? Valves? If not, I have a pair of Noisebuster muffs on order either way! Thanks
