Horizontal distributor is most likely an IH instead of a Delco, as most Delco distributors on Farmalls were vertical.
The IH distributors were often sold as an over-the-counter "battery ignition" conversion package on tractors that came from the factory with a magneto. Pappy and Grand-dad sold a ton of 'em when the backage retailed for $29.95 way back when. As such, they didn't have a metal tag with a number, as most Delco distributors did. BUT...the "letter series," as well as the 300/350/400/450, all used the same distributor. [While a factory Cub distributor was different, I've seen some mag conversions on Cubs that used a "letter-series" distributor].
So I'm not sure exactly where to tell you to look for a distributor number.
