You are saying it is the gasket between the injector and the precup? (like a giant skinny steel washer) I can certainly agree with that. The gaskets really suck. I expected something a little more substational than that. The one had quite a bit of carbon for sure. I compared the seals the injector company gave me with the ones at IH and there isn't a bit of difference. Should you double them up? Should they look compressed? Any other tricks?
I antisiezed the injectors when I put them in. Is that right or wrong?
