The Christmas Tree valve has to have nearly zero clearance at the top where it is in proximity to gas tank. My tractor uses a street 45 malleable fitting to clear the belt pulley gear box. A hydraulic street 45 may give a little more clearance. You might also want to look at brass fittings.
