got a 460 that i built a puller out of. put in a 301 out a 715 combine and a new button clutch and pressure plate that was supposed to have heavier springs for the extra power. took it to a pull today and tried it in 3rd gear and it wouldnt pull off. went to second and the same thing. put it in first and it took off but and it pulled in first gear and didnt slip and spun the tires in 5000 and 5500 lb classes. would you think the pressure plate is not strong enough to pull off in those other gears or what could be the problem.
