80 ft-lbs is the recommended. You've had it warm, so go ahead and draw it down. Pattern is to start somewhere in the middle and work your way clockwise around the studs so that the end effect is that you're alternating ends, working out from the middle.
If it's terribly slack to start with (like under 65 ft-lbs) it wouldn't hurt to run it to warm a couple of times, and check them again after it's cooled back down. Abit of a pain in the neck becasue it means removing thte rocker and re-running the valves, but if lack of pressure on the head is the reason for the seep aroud the gasket, it will be small effort and expense for an easy fix.
