IH used "off the shelf" metric (yes! Metric!) bearings when they designed these tractors. The trick is to convert what you measure on your bearings into millimeters.
Looking through my records from when I went through one of my Super M's, the inner axle is is a 214W. It's the same as on a regular M. The "W" means it has the maximum number of balls; the outer axle bearing is just 214 with a shield on one side. I upgraded the outer bearing on mine with a 214WD which is a max ball with shields. I just popped one of the shields out and good to go.
I'm showing that I used a 213W for the bull pinions, but I'm not 100% sure that it's the same on an M but would bet money that it is. If you have yours apart measure to be sure. Mine in millimeters measured 65 X 120 X 23.
I got some bearings from ebatmus.com and most from A&W bearing in Dallas and they were good to work with. Once you have the numbers you can check ebay too. The ones from China are downright cheap but used domestic ones in mine.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
